Yes there have been no updates lately... we are still working on the album and are hoping for a fall release. We actually decided to add a couple tracks as well, so at this point I believe we are looking at 9 tracks on "Synthetik Nightmare". Hopefully we'll see you all on the road this fall!

BTW I am sick of all the spambots trying to post shit to the blog! I just deleted 86 trackbacks... all for various drugs to improve this or whatever else they do. Not interested... don't care... and I'm not letting it be posted on here so STOP TRYING!!!!

The past few days have been fun for recording. I now have The Abyss assembled and now working on laying the vocal tracks. I have one version down so far and just need to go back and listen to how it sounds. This is one of the more mellow vocal lines I'll be doing for the album so I really need to check the levels to keep it uniform.

On a side note, the whole process has been exciting. I'm sitting down in front of a new program that I've never had the opportunity to use and tada I know how to use it, find all the options I need, while Kohl sits in the corner... nope I don't want to hear it... you can stay right over there til you're needed.

This week marks the begining of my studio work for the first CD release. I will be recording some vocals hopefully sometime over the next few days for the first track, titled "The Abyss". After they are recorded we will be mastering the mix and should have it available for your listening pleasure shortly after.

Also, we will be have Mothballz bringing the drums in for recording some scratch tracks. [Looking forward to having you in the studio. When you getting on Myspace?? :P]
